Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Catie Theiler, DVM
Medical Director/Managing DVM
I have been in the veterinary industry since I was 16. I started as a kennel technician in my hometown vet clinic in Arlington, Nebraska. I moved up to veterinary assistant while I was in college. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science from Doane University in Crete, Nebraska, and DVM from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Because I am a new graduate I want to bring new research and medicine to Foothills. In addition, I have a special interest in surgery and dermatology. I want to give each of my patients the best care possible while providing the best experience for the pet. In my free time, I like to snuggle with my cat Charlie, crochet, cook, and be outdoors.
Dr. Brittany Miller, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Brittany Miller is a dedicated mixed animal veterinarian and a proud Colorado native. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Regis University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2018. During veterinary school, she also became certified in veterinary acupuncture through the CuraCore Academy, expanding her expertise in integrative medicine.
Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and integrative therapies. Dr. Miller is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and clients, believing that strong community connections are at the heart of excellent veterinary care.
Dr. Jennifer Baughman, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Baughman’s journey into veterinary medicine began early—so early, in fact, she was voted “Most Likely to Become a Veterinarian” in preschool! Originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago, she followed her passion for animals to Central Michigan University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.
As a new graduate, Dr. Baughman brings fresh knowledge, a warm heart, and a commitment to providing exceptional, personalized care to every patient and their family. Her clinical interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology.
When she’s not at the hospital, you can find Dr. Baughman exploring local hiking trails with her dog, Butters, curled up with a good book, or discovering new restaurants to try.

Stacy, RVT
Practice Manager
I was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania. After high school, I attended several semesters at Penn State University before moving to Colorado and transferring to Bel-Rea Institute. I graduated from Bel-Rea with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I joined the Foothills team in 2002 as a Certified Technician and transitioned to Practice Manager. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my husband and son engaging in outdoor activities, doing crafty projects, and enjoying the company of my own pets. I have 2 beagles and a cat.
Eva, RVT
I’m a Colorado local, born and raised in Denver but for the last 20 years, I’ve lived in Sunny San Diego which I consider my second home.
I have a degree in Animal Health Technology from San Diego Mesa College and have worked in small animal practices, specialty clinics, and have interned at the famous San Diego Zoo, where I worked with amazing people and got to see so many awesome animals, including the adorable pandas!
After a break from work to raise my daughter, I’m so happy to be back in Colorado working as a CVT. I have seen my love of animals transfer to my daughter and she is thrilled that I am a “puppy nurse” and get to wear pajamas to work.

I’ve always been around animals, from chickens, rabbits and goats my mother raised, to working with pets and primates as a veterinary technician. After a lifetime in Georgia, I am excited to be in the mountains with my partner, our cat and almost enough houseplants to balance not having a garden. I am happy to call Colorado home and to be a part of the Foothills family.

Customer Care Representative
I was born and raised in Colorado. I attended the University of Colorado at Denver and earned a degree in Communications. I joined the Foothills team as a Customer Care Representative in 2021. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband at our neighborhood pub, going to concerts, skiing, and watching movies. I have a dog and a cat of my own.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn was born and raised in New York where she attended the University at Albany before moving to California. I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and recently moved here to Colorado. My first job was working as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital. Ever since then, I have always wanted to be around animals. I later went on to work at an animal shelter, where I found a dog of my own. Through that dog, I learned just how special connections can be with our pets. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at a local animal shelter, going on runs, and baking.

I have lived in Colorado my whole life. I have had many different career paths I have explored. I’m a former firefighter, medical assistant, traveling phlebotomist, and veterinary assistant. I graduated from ABC College in California for veterinary assisting in 2019. During the pandemic, I worked as a traveling medical assistant administering the first rounds of covid vaccines. My true passion is animals so I found myself back in the veterinary world. I joined the Foothills team in July 2022. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, camping, rebuilding old cars, and spending time with my dog Posiedan.

Registered Veterinary Technician
Oak is a Colorado native with a passion for animal care and welfare. He has degrees in both Anthrozoology and Veterinary Technology. Oak previously worked with Veterinary Behaviorists and shelters with a focus on making sure animals and their caretakers are as successful as possible.
In his free time, Oak enjoys hiking with his dogs, working on sustainable gardening, and painting.

I’m a native of Colorado. I’m at 2018 graduate of Bel-Rea Institute where I earned an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I joined the Foothills Team in 2023.

I was raised in California and spent a majority of my youth in 4-H caring for, riding, and showing horses where my love for animals grew. I have always aspired to be in the veterinary field and found my passion with small animals! I moved to Colorado in 2020 and attended Bel-Rea Institute where I graduated with an AAS in veterinary technology. I’m proud to be an RVT and join the Foothills family! In my free time I am an avid book reader and love to take my two dogs on all the adventures!

Client Service Representative
Hi, I’m Samantha! I recently moved to Colorado from Florida, and I’m so excited to be here. I’ve cared for many animals over the years, and I currently have a German Shepherd and two cats who mean the world to me. I’ve always known I wanted to work with animals because they’re such a big part of who I am.
My love for animals started early. For my third birthday, my mom surprised me with my first cat, and we spent 19 years growing up together. She was my “soul cat,” and the bond we shared is the reason I carry so much compassion for animals today. She showed me what true companionship looks like and inspired me to always open my heart and my life to animals.

I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago. I attended the Illinois Institute of Art earning a culinary degree. I relocated to Colorado in 2015 for a job at a Vail resort. My love and passion for animals led me in a new direction. I joined the Foothills team as a Customer Care Representative in 2022 In my free time, I love to cook, paint, hike, do any outdoor activities, and take road trips.

I was born and raised in Colorado. I attended Bel-Rea Institute and earned an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I joined the Foothills team as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2009. In my spare time, I love to garden, play frisby golf, hiking, camp, listen to live music, and spend time with my pets. I have two dogs and a cat.

I was born in Hong Kong where I lived until I was 13. In 2003 I moved to California with my mom and sister. I attended Carrington College where I earned an AAS in veterinary technology. I relocated to Colorado in 2016 and joined the Foothills team as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2017. In my free time, I enjoy catching up on sleep and spending time with my family. I have 3 dogs of my own.

I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea.
I joined the Foothills team in 2002 as a Certified Veterinary Technician and later transitioned into the role of Practice Manager. I’m passionate about supporting both our team and our clients while helping ensure the highest level of care for our patients. In recognition of my leadership and dedication, I was honored to be named 2025 Practice Manager of the Year by Heartland Veterinary Partners.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, especially watching my son play competitive soccer, working on creative projects, and relaxing with our pets. At home, I have one beagle and a cat who keeps life fun and full.
